Thank you
I've not seen people who say "hazardous".

They carry effectively the same meaning, but "danger" is more general and can refer to any significant risk (both physical and non-physical risks).
Examples:
- "Be careful of the sharp metal pieces, they're dangerous!"
- "It's dangerous to stand here because rocks sometimes fall down from the mountain"
- "Watch out! It's dangerous over there, you can easily fall off the cliff!"
- "It's dangerous for you to say that, he could sue you in court"
- "That's a dangerous amount of money you are betting, what if you lose the game!?"
"hazardous" usually refers specifically to physical dangers like toxic chemicals, explosives, sharp or heavy objects, lack of clean air, etc.
Examples:
- "The arctic is a very cold and hazardous environment"
- "This place is very hazardous due to various undetonated explosives scattered underground"
- "Be careful of the hazardous chemicals, make sure you wash your hands after using them"
- "We need a hazardous materials (HAZMAT) team to come clean up this mess"

Dangerous and Hazardous both have very similar meanings, in that they both describe something that can hurt you, or they can describe some sort of unsafe situation. However, they are usually not used interchangeably. For instance, I would say the following:
“That looks like a dangerous dog”. I would never say: “A hazardous dog”.
Same thing goes for people:
“Be careful! That guy could be dangerous!” Not: “The guy looks hazardous”
‘Hazardous’ very often used when describing things (especially on signs and labels), like chemicals as in: “Hazardous chemicals”, “hazardous materials”
There are some places though, where either one could be used, with each one giving a slightly different connotation. For instance: “A dangerous adventure” vs “A hazardous adventure”. Going over the shades of meaning for each is way beyond the scope of what I can answer. I would suggest just paying attention to the context that each one is used in. Native speakers will understand you regardless of which one you choose. The worst thing that could happen is it would just sound “off” to native ears. But when in doubt, "dangerous" is by far more common in spoken speech.
