Habibi is more like "My lover" in literal meaning and Hobi is "My love" both can be used to refer to a loved one.

@miccazoleta Well Hobi works for both husband/wife and Habibi for the male partner whereas Habibti is used for the female partner

@nagetsbag i see.. because everywhere i go people use habibi to everyone. So it's a little confusing, for what i know habibi or habibti is used for the person you love and not just for everyone.

@miccazoleta Well that's because of cultural differences Arab people use it to show friendliness to anyone not necessarily their specific other.

@nagetsbag So from what i understand from all these is hobi is more accurate to use or call the person you love like husband or wife..? Am i right??

Both are accurate to use for a husband or a wife I'm sorry if I confused you but it's more like "sweetie*" in English it has a sentimental meaning however it's not necessarily limited to use with people you're in a relationship with.
*Keep in mind it does not mean sweetie but the uses are similar.
