@minmin119 thank you for your help as always!! So 「~よう」and「~みたい」more or less mean the same thing, besides the situations you use them in?

"ようだ" is a written word, and "みたいだ" is a casual spoken word.
Except for this point, I think it can be said that they are the same usage.
昨日雨が降ったよう(みたい)ですね。
It looks like it rained yesterday.
何か燃えているよう(みたい)ですね。
It looks like something is burning.
留守みたい(のよう)だね。
There seems to be no one here.
君みたい(のよう)な人
a person like you
天国みたい(のよう)だ
It's like heaven
I think "ようだ" is a bit more literary and makes you imagine the background.
