Pergunta sobre Inglês (Reino Unido)
Como é que se diz isto em Inglês (Reino Unido)? When you are on the playground(on/in/at?) with your toddler and she wants to have a go on a roundabout or on a seesaw and you have to push her, so can you use push for roundabout, seesaw? Or it's better to say Sit down I'll spin you? And what about seesaw

"at the playground" - think the same as when you are "at home" or "at work" etc... It's what you use when you are *at* a location.
"in the playground" - you could use this phrase if you were already at the park and you were telling a child "go play in the playground" as you point at the swings and slide etc.
"on the playground" - this is more used if you are talking about something like, "There was a lot of litter on the playground."
As for the roundabout and seesaw, using "push you" is fine. Children at that age would understand if they see other kids playing on it. (They won't be thinking that you want to push them onto the ground. 😄) In their minds all they are really thinking about is "play", so the words aren't really important.
However, if there are no other kids playing--and they have never used it before--you may need to explain it to them (sit down and I'll spin you).

Thank you very much! I use 'push' when there is nobody else and I have to do all the job so she could have fun. But then I've got an idea that probably native speakers don't say so and decided to check it. By the way you use swings(plural) but I've found swing(singular) as well. Is there any difference?

As for swing/swings, if you are talking about the entire swing set (maybe there are two/three swings on it) then you would say "swings" since you are not talking about any ONE swing. If it was a single swing, then yes you would only say "swing". However, in most playgrounds they tend to have more than one.
So "swings" is for the entire thing, and "swing" is for just one. Mind you, the child won't care, she'll just be saying, "Push me mommy!" 😄

Thanks a lot, that's what I thought. You are very good at explanation! I know that my toddler will understand me even if I say something wrong, but as I'm the only person speaking English with her(we live in a small town with no English native speakers) I worry that she will grasp all my mistakes as she repeats everything I say and she doesn't like books though she watches cartoons in English.
