There’s rarely a situation where you’d say “I’m going to America for this Sunday”, it’s not a phrase you’d normally hear at all. Everything else looks fairly natural.

@Miya1989 Unfortunately I don’t have many tips for remembering prepositions, that’s something that came with practice and memorizing sentences for me.
However, I can tell you what each preposition sounds like in a conversation.
“For the summer” sounds as if you’ll be spending nearly the entire summer at ___.
“This summer” sounds like you are talking about either the current summer, or the one that’s to come (if you were in spring or winter).
“In the summer” sounds as if someone had just asked you “what are you going to be doing in the summer?”
“In summer” has nearly the same meaning as “this summer”.
Note that’s there’s not a huge difference between these phrases. (Also keep in mind that this is what I hear when I see these sentences, others may have different ideas).
