“It suits you” is more metaphorical. It suits your personality too. The style matches who you are and it looks good. Haha
It fits you perfectly is more literal. So an outfit could fit you perfectly but not suit you.
For example, a girl who never wears dresses but has to wear a dress for school — the dress could fit her perfectly, but it doesn’t suit her because she prefers to wear pants. Pants would suit her better than a dress.
