Literally: to describe something that is actually happening eg. “This soup is literally scalding hot” - now the confusing part. It also is used as slang for things that are not true. Eg. “This soup is literally as hot as the sun.” — it is supposed to mean “actually true” though and you’d use it in the context where something is extreme or surprising - eg. “You’re literally crushing my hand!”
Precisely: means “correct” or “exactly” in conversation. Also means exact down to a tiny detail eg. “Precise measurement” or if you explain to someone how to do something and they repeat back “so this is how I do it?” You say “precisely” if they got it perfectly right.
Definitely: 100% certain. “I will definitely go to the shop tomorrow.” Is a sure statement that you really will. Also if you ask someone a question eg. “do you think we should leave?” And they say “definitely” this is an enthusiastic response, it’s stronger than “yes” as they are 100% sure.
Certainly: another way to say definitely, but used less often. Usually about a thing that has or will happen. Eg. “It certainly was hot yesterday!” it can also be used the same as in a discussion to agree but it’s a more polite form usually from a request. Eg. Ask a waiter “excuse me, could you bring me some water?” The waiter says “certainly.”
Exactly: different way to say precisely. You can say “I need to get this precisely right” and “exactly right” and it’s the same - “exact measurement” and “precise measurement” also mean the same thing. You would hear “exactly” in conversation more frequently to mean “yes that’s right” or “correct”
Hope that helps!! “Certainly” and “Precisely” are a little more formal but all these words would be used fairly commonly (:
