Pergunta sobre Inglês (EUA)

I'm supposed to live in the U.S. for the next five years. I can't speak English well yet. I study English every day while taking care of my son. But I can't practice talking in English yet because I hardly ever talk with the local people due to the coronavirus, even though I'm in the U.S. So it's not easy to get used to speaking English right now. But sometimes, I pass the residents of the condo in the patio when my son and I play there for a change of pace. Some of them talk to us. It’s small talk, so they use difficult English. I usually understand what they said, but it’s difficult to response with what I want to say and I just response with yes or smile. Even if I want to say a sentence that is not difficult, it’s not come out immediately. I always bocame nervous when they talk to me, and I can't smile naturally. My face tends to have a stiff smile because I usually try hard to catch thier English. I really talk with them more naturally. soa natural?
