I am Korean myself but most people think of Gangnam Style and Technology. A lot of people also think of Korea, China, and Japan to be exactly the same too.

Stereotypically, American's think that all Koreans get plastic surgery. They also believe that Korean technology is more advanced than American and Korea's fashion is high quality. Those are the stereotypical beliefs

I think a lot of Americans really only know Korean culture through kpop and kdramas. They know things like kimchi and Gangnam style and Korean BBQ but don't really know anything else beyond what Korean culture has come to America

I personally like Korea. I'm more comfortable in Korean culture than American. my grandfather is from korea, so it was home culture for me.
