Como é que se diz isto em Inglês (EUA)? My father is as much good at Japanese as the native. (is it right?)

You should say: My father is as good in Japanese as a native speaker.

“As good as” is very important and a good way of describing two things of the same value

@Hyees not in the meaning but It depends on when to use it. Good at is followed by a noun such as: I’m good at sports.
And good in is followed by a verb such as: I’m good in cooking.

Or
“My father speaks Japanese as well as a native speaker”
