O significado de "Italic" em várias frases e orações
Q:
O que significa italics?
A:
Whenever a word is italicized, it's emphasized. In this case, "off" means "peculiar", or "not quite right/normal". Italicized, it means "very peculiar".
Ex: He ran to school.
If "ran" is italicized, it means he ran fast.
Often in speech, someone will pause before saying "off", which means they are trying to find a good way of saying someone is "strange" or "weird" that's not rude, and "off" was the most polite word they could find. It's italicized because "off" is a bit indirect, but the people want to be clear that the Richardson family is *very* strange by emphasizing it.
So, they are trying to indirectly (not impolitely) but clearly say how strange the family is.

A:
Well, it's a thing that depends on the person. I personally use to emphasize my points. are just meant to draw your eye to the point.
" I wanna do Deborah's papers she's such a ."
that is how I emphasize words.
Next time you are texting your boyfriend read his texts and mimic what he does it helps. I'm assuming he won't judge you for trying to learn.
checklist
find the emphasized word
Then read the whole text
say it out loud and over emphasize the pronunciation on the italicized text.
see what part of speech it is, verb noun adjective
text back a sentence and intone your own italics into it and ask him if it emphasized what you wanted it to.
pretty soon you'll learn patterns if you look at and attempt enough :)
